Paul S. Auler, 55, of
Terre Haute passed away at 10:29 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at
Union Hospital. He was born June 24, 1952 in Terre Haute to
Glenn I. and Cordia F. Roach Auler.
Survivors include his mother; wife, Debbie Tague Auler; sons,
Mark Auler and wife Julie of Terre Haute, Paul Auler and wife
Lorena of Temcula, Calif.; step-sons, Brock Easton and John
Hendrix; brothers, Bill and Larry Auler; sisters, Vicki Jones,
Candy Rooksberry, Sandra Dawson, Mary Otte, Lisa Grayless, and
Betty Swalls; grandchildren, Kaytlyn Johnson, Jounica Johnson,
Andrew Auler; and aunt, Louise Wehrle.
He was preceded in death by his father; first wife, Sue Grayless
Auler; second wife, Norra Auler; and brothers, Ronald and Glenn
Auler Jr.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, William Penn
Masonic Lodge 727, and VFW Post 104. He loved to play bingo and
enjoyed fishing, hunting and karaoke. He loved local dirt track
racing and the outdoors. He also loved to spend time with his
friend and dog, Windy, and they would share cookies and ice
cream.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Friday in Mattox-Wood Funeral Home
with Pastor Fred Harrison officiating. Calling hours are 11 a.m.
until services Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in
Highland Lawn Cemetery.
